hello again:

SORRY SO MANY ?'S Ijust want to do this right.

how much area should be required per bird for exercise and breeding.wanting to build a new sm.barn w/outside runs,approximantly 14x30w/incubation and brooder room.each pen will be 4x5x7w/runs being4x8x6 is this enough. this all depends on finances!!!! Ithink it's there but only the wife knows for sure.lol!!!!

Never too many questions. We all get to learn from others' replies too. :D

Every breeder uses differently sized pens, but for my setup and space 3 ft x 8 ft pens that are 6 to 8 ft in height with high perches are what I prefer. I can keep 3 to 5 bantams in a pen that size or a trio of large fowl.
