One thing I can suggest to guys here who like to experiment with wilds is try to use Ceylon junglefowl for projects.

They coloring is intense and fiery, their combs looks like they are a flame over the head of a fire bird. In my opinion creating a longtailed Ceylon would look so like a real Phoenix.

Toni-Marie has done so much work with not only loads of domestic breeds, but also JF experimentations for so many years that it's amazing. Just things that the rest of us never think of. Or if we do, it's one of those 'some day I'll do it' sort of things.

What I know of her work and experiments is why I question you adding in anything bankivoid to long-tails. It's better to stick to the green JF side of the family tree. :wink:
